Bundesanzeiger Verlag to introduce e-invoice from 1 January 2026

From 1 January 2026, Bundesanzeiger Verlag will switch completely to electronic invoicing (e-invoicing). With this step, the company is complying with legal requirements and the ongoing digitisation of accounting in Germany.

In future, invoices will only be provided in a structured electronic format that enables seamless further processing. The aim of the changeover is to make billing processes more efficient, transparent and sustainable. Paper-based invoices will thus be completely eliminated.

For customers, the introduction of e-invoicing means faster delivery, simplified archiving and better integration into existing accounting and ERP systems. Bundesanzeiger Verlag recommends checking the technical and organisational requirements in good time to ensure a smooth transition.

If you have any questions about the introduction of e-billing, relevant information and support channels are available.

With the switch to e-billing, Bundesanzeiger Verlag is setting another milestone on the road to digital and sustainable business processes.
